A passionate and highly creative designer and brand strategist with over 15 years of experience in fast-paced, agile environments. She thrives on using her design expertise to tackle business challenges head-on, and loves nothing more than helping brands succeed. Her purpose-driven approach to design enables her to marry strategy with aesthetics to solve complex business challenges. Through the development and implementation of impactful brand communication and engagement strategies across all touchpoints, she have driven long-term success for numerous brands.
Experience
Prior to going on her own, Sara was the senior brand strategist at Brandem, a boutique branding and communications studio in Beirut while at the same time remotely directing the design at infographic.ly, an information design agency in Dubai and Toronto.
A graduate from Parsons The New School for Design with a Masters of Science degree in Strategic Design & Management which focuses on how systems thinking and design strategy can be used to solve complex problems and deliver innovative products, services, and experiences. It touches on diverse concepts ranging from management and leadership to design research, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. She also has a Bachelor of science degree in graphic design and a minor in business management from the Lebanese American University in Lebanon.
Before her masters, Sara worked at M&C Saatchi Lebanon as a senior brand designer. Her focus was on bringing high profile brands to life while leading a small team of designers. Prior to M&C Saatchi, Sara worked as a Brand Strategist at FITCH Doha where she bridged the gap between design and strategy by leveraging research and consumer insights to produce tactics that emotionally connected brands to their customers.
Her experience spans from retail, banking, food and beverage, hospitality, sports, SME, non-profit organizations and television branding. Some key projects include: UNICEF, UNDP, Caritas, Beirut Marathon Association, L’abeille D’or, Sanea, Qatar Women's Sports Committee, IAAF World Indoor Championships, Qatar Marine Festival, Anti Doping Lab Qatar, ExxonMobil , Kuwait Hotels Company, OTV, Saudi TV, Rudaw TV, Globemed, George Matta, Averda, Al Joumhouria Newspaper, Colonel Brewery, and Dubai Knowledge.
